Q1 What kinds of pets can ride?
A: Any companion animal is welcome to ride.
Q2 How many people can ride?
A: Under Japanese law, pets are treated as cargo. Therefore, while we call ourselves a pet taxi, we operate similarly to a delivery van. Consequently, only one person can ride as a supervisor. Please consult with us first—we're sure we can assist you.
Q3 How many pets can ride?
A: This depends on the number of passengers and luggage volume. We generally prioritize pets boarding first, so please discuss this when making your reservation.
Q4 What kind of vehicle will arrive?
A: As mentioned earlier, due to Japanese law treating pets as cargo, we use a kei car. Please discuss this when making your reservation.
Q5 What kinds of uses are possible?
A: As long as a pet is riding, we can generally accommodate all requests. For Japanese customers, it's often for medical appointments, while for international customers, it's frequently for travel.
Q6 What are the payment methods?
A: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable in cash or card upon actual boarding.
Q7 Are there cancellation fees?
A: Cancellation fees apply starting one week prior to the booking date. The deposit will be forfeited in full as the cancellation fee. No additional cancellation fees apply.
Q8 How far in advance should I book?
A: Some clients book up to a year ahead. Typically, for medical appointments, booking 1 week to 10 days in advance is common. For travel, booking over a month in advance is typical. The average is about 1.5 months in advance.
Q9 If I want to go to both places but don't know which is better, can I consult with you?
A: Of course, that's fine. We'll decide based on your preferences for sea, mountains, rivers, or lakes.
Also, I hold a Pet Travel Advisor certification, so please feel free to ask me anything.
